At home against the Panthers tomorrow.

Alright, so I'm sitting here at school, getting finished with some homework, and I'm putting off finishing up an application for an internship for the summer.  I still have to fill out the "Research Experience" and "Technical Skills" parts.  Uh, okay.  Oh yeah, it snowed today.

The Flyers play at home against the Panthers tomorrow night.  I believe that they have split the season series so far, losing the first game and winning the second game 1-0, courtesy of a late goal by Mr. Clutch, Derian Hatcher.  I'm curious to see who John Stevens puts in net for the game.  Niittymaki had started four straight games before Biron got to play on Sunday again.  Biron gave up four goals, but I really think that had to do with rust (and the fact that Alexander Ovechkin is awesome), but he still played well enough for the win.  I hope that he gets the nod tomorrow night to give him a chance to prove he's still the #1 guy.  I'm not sure what Steven's is planning on doing with his goaltending situation.

The key to the game will be stopping Jokinen.  He's killed the Flyers recently and he's their guy offensively.  I assume Vokoun will be in net, so they Flyers need that spread out scoring they've been getting.  Will this be the game that Steve Downie gets his first fight?

More to come.
