I'm kind of embarassed about this one, but I feel that I need to get this off my chest.
I was walking through my kitchen and happened to glance at the refrigerator. On it was a picture of my cousin's son, who is probably about a year old, in one of those "picture cards" or whatever you want to call them. It was a Halloween themed greeting card. I was a nice picture, until I noticed the costume he was wearing. It was a penguin. A penguin? Oh please, anything.....but a penguin?
Now, this penguin costume did not look like it had any ties to the type of penguin found on the other side of the state, but I just don't believe that the child should be brought up in an environment that tolerates Penguins of any sort. I don't question my cousin's ability to raise her son or her husband's ability. I think this can be chalked up to lack of knowledge about the situation. We need to teach parents the facts about penguins so they can teach their children and put an end to this disgusting mess.
